Capital Plan
The provincial government determines where, when and how new schools are built. Each year, Foothills School Division is required to submit a Three-Year School Capital Plan to Alberta Education. The plan identifies priorities for new school construction and major modernizations.
The 2024 - 2027 Capital Plan Priorities:
New Construction
- New 10 – 12 School, Okotoks (1,200 Capacity)
- New K – 9 School, Okotoks (900 Capacity)
- New School, High River (Configuration TBD at Spitzee Crossing Development)
