CUPE Local 5040 collective agreement information for past employees

This information is for employees who have left their CUPE role with the Division in the 2024-2025 school year
Following recent updates to the Foothills School Division and CUPE Local 5040 2024-2028 Collective Agreement, if you worked in a school-based support staff position during the 2024-2025 school year and no longer work for the Foothills School Division, you may be eligible for retroactive pay. To check your eligibility and to apply, please reach out to us at fsdemployeeservices@fsd38.ab.ca by May 31, 2025.
Important Note:
If you are a current employee—whether on contract or casual—and are working during the 2024-2025 school year, your retroactive payment will be automatically deposited on April 30, 2025 for contracted employees and April 10, 2025 for casual employees.
